Purchase: I purchased the chaps from Big Dee's at Quarter Horse Congress for about $70.
Likes: The chaps are very comfortable and easy to apply over both jeans and breeches. They protect the lower leg very well while keeping it cool especially on hot summer days.
Dislikes: The only thing I really dislike is the snap closure on the bottom is difficult to snap. The chaps stay completely zipped without it so I rarely use it anyway.
Quality: The chaps are very well made and have lasted me about three years and are still going strong. The only signs of wear are on the suede on the inner calf where the leather hits the leg but are still very usable.
Summary: I am very pleased with these half chaps and will definitely be purchasing the same style again when my current pair wears out.
