Purchase: Purchased from a store in Poland, although have sometimes seen them over here. Paid around $450.
Likes: The trees are adjustable (by a professional). Workmanship is exceptional. Leather is soft, and supple. I've had my two PFIFF saddles for years, and they are still like new (but broken in). This is by far my favorite brand of saddle.
Dislikes: Hard to find. Cheap models, such as the BEAUTY are not good. I recommend going on UK or German websites and seeing original cost. If it's below $300 don't buy. Anything over that is just wonderful.
Quality: Tree has not warped in any of the three saddles I own. Leather is great in all three of them as well. Seat is well designed; most saddles come with knee and thigh blocks that can be adjusted or removed by a saddle maker with ease. They seem to fit a wide range of horses. They easily compare to Passier's or Kieffers.
Summary: I'm always on a lookout for these saddles. They're worth every penny, and they are very comfortable for horse and rider.
