Purchase: I bought the New Briton turnout blanket online from Schneiders because my current blankets were not meeting my standards. The purchase price was $129.
Likes: I love everything about the Stormsheild New Briton turnout blankets. The bellyband was a new option for me, and I can't believe how much better it is than the surcingles! The fit is unbelievable, and the Adjusta-fit makes it even better.
Dislikes: The blanket itself is faultless, but I just wish it came in more colors.
Quality: Going from my previous blankets, the New Briton has so much more quality. I can feel the difference just fastening the open front buckles! I am also very pleased with the construction, especially the toughness.
Summary: The New Briton open front bellyband is fantastic. The quality has no comparison to my old blankets, and the bellyband is a wonderful feature. What won me over was the fit. My mare can roll, lay down, run, anything and it never shifts at all. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new blanket, and even people who aren't.
