Purchase: I didn't have anything to organize my bridles for shows besides a few plastic coat hangers, so I figured it was time to upgrade (long overdue, I know!).
Victoria Feeds - The Horse & Hound in Lindsay, Ontario, Canada carries the Griffith Portable Tack Rack for approximately $7.00 Cdn without taxes.
Likes: It's a great little gadget to have.
All of the hooks swivel which makes storing it easy as it folds flat, but when you need to hang something, you just spin a hook around.
The ends are capped to avoid sharp edges, and it comes in an array of colours: black, red, navy, yellow, hunter green, pink and royal blue.
Dislikes: There's nothing I dislike about this product.
Quality: I'm not exactly sure what metal this is made of, but it's lightweight (not weak) and has held up well to the elements so far.
The base of the tack rack is a small tube. There are 2 swivel hooks on top to latch it over something (stall, trailer door or divider, fence, etc) and 4 swivel hooks to hang your tack.
The paint seems to resist chipping and scratching pretty well, and the plastic end caps haven't fallen out yet.
Summary: A great little product I'm glad to have around. I'll probably end up getting another as it's so handy - and the price is right.
I can now properly organize my bridles, halters (and anything else that fits on a tack hook) at shows. It's made things easier.
