Likes: The Proven has received mixed reviews but I adore this saddle- having ridden for over 30 of my 38 years on this planet and done everything from gaming to western pleasure to drill, this saddle is one I will always keep in the barn.
Great for speed work of any kind because of the light weight and excellent balance, but comfy enough to hit the trail in.
The deep seat and high cantle are perfect, the roughout seat allows enough grip without making you feel stuck to the seat.
The design allows for maximum movement and comfort for your horse. I could feel a difference in my ride with my mare in this saddle.
Dislikes: nothing, this is truly my favorite non-equitation saddle.
Quality: Construction is great, I know people who have had their "Proven" for years and still swear by it.
Summary: An outstanding saddle for a great price, you really cannot beat the proven if you want a seat for action that will keep you secure and comfortable without making you feel trapped.
