Purchase: During hunting season I like to keep our horses as visible as possible whether they're out on the trail or in our field.
I found these bell boots, in blinding orange, from Greenhawk in Whitby, Ontario, Canada on sale for around 7.00 Cdn.
Likes: They're great boots. I know some people dislike bell boots with velcro on them as the velcro tends to rip off, or separate, from the rubber with frequent use. I haven't had that problem yet - and my horse is a klutz!
Dislikes: The double-lock velcro is very secure but it can also be tough to put on.
Quality: Rubber bell boots with a ribbed outer surface and smooth inner surface. 2 strips of double-lock velcro to secure them. Available in several colours, but I chose the bright orange.
Summary: A decent bell boot for a good price. They are extremely visible and very hard-wearing. I use them during hunting season, and also when I know I'll be riding by the road or during times when visibility isn't the greatest (early morning or early evening). I'd recommend these to anyone, in that colour!
