Purchase: Purchased a group of these saddle blankets directly from Tack Wholesale at www.tackwholesale.com.
Likes: Price. Many were ok for price paid.
Dislikes: Seller does NOT return communication (email or submitted via the form on their website) in response to concerns regarding two of these blankets. First of all, they are made in India--not a huge deal at this price point. However, one saddle blanket arrived with blue ink stains that will not completely come out and another blanket arrived with a one inch hole.
Quality: Most of the saddle blankets were fine for the price paid. They were advertised as 100% wool but, in fact, did have synthetic acrylic fibers blended in. A few of the blankets were really stiff and hard as the weaving was pulled too tight. Others were fine and decent for the price.
Summary: My first (and last) order from Tack Wholesale (www.tackwholesale.com). Based upon this order, quality can be iffy and seller is not responsive at all to communication received after the sale. At least the price was low enough that I can absorb the loss and the lack of quality will not affect my safety.
