Category: Dressage Saddles
Purchase: Used on Ebay for $850, retails for 2200.
Likes: Perfect saddle, comfy easy to sit in the right position, but you can take it out on a trail ride and be able to move around in it. The wide fit my Friesian X really well, then it turned around and fit my little 15.1 hand Paint just as well. The leather is really nice, the stitching is tight, and it has moveable knee blocks.
Dislikes: Hard to break it, but once it does the leather is like butter.
Quality: FANTABULOUS! Tight stitching, the leather is well crafted and supple and smells wonderful.
Summary: I have always wanted a Kieffer, but never had the use for one since I have always had narrow horses. Since I now have 2 wide backed horses this is the perfect saddle, since I am short I have a hard time finding saddles that aren't too long in the flaps, this one is perfect!
