Purchase: I bought these boots less than a year ago online (though I forgot the name of the site) for probably around $35. I was looking specifically for synthetic boots because I don't use leather.
Likes: These boots are very comfortable and I like their look. They're wide enough to give my toes a little bit of room, have a good reinforced toe, and have actually shaped to my feet (though I have heard often that synthetics don't do this). Also, I ride western and I felt that they don't look overly-english style, more appealing to both fields.
Dislikes: Pretty shortly after I bought these boots the stitching on the toes of both boots started falling apart a little bit. I passed it off because of how comfortable they were. Then, as creases formed near the toe and in other areas where that starts to happen, the material started to break. This began around 6 months after I bought the boots. Over time, they've been cracking more and more and allowing dirt and water into the boot. Also, when it's cold the boots act like a freezer and my toes go numb. It starts to do this around 45 degrees.
Quality: The style of the boots is nice and very comfortable, but the quality is very poor. I feel that synthetics can be made much better than this (Wintec's materials, for example) and these boots should have lasted a lot longer than they did.
Summary: These boots are very nice if you don't mind buying new ones every 6 months or so. They are extremely comfortable, especially for synthetic material.
