Purchase: I bought this from a local tack store for $45. I wanted the leather look of stirrup leatehrs but with the nylon convenience of not stretching over time.
Likes: The leathers matched my saddle and seemed like they were high qualilty.
Dislikes: The leather with the nylon was TOO THICK! it wouldn't fit through my stirrup irons so I had to go out and buy new ones. And when you are adjusting them, the process of rubbing aginst the stirrup bar at the top practically peeled the finish off the leather!
Quality: They are leather on both the front and back with nylon in the center which made it too thick. They were bulky , sticking out and rudding your inner thigh when riding and an were hard to adjust as they woudl not not slide down the stirrup bar freely.
Summary: Make sure you do not purchase leathers that are TOO thick like the ones just described, they will only bring you grief and sore thighs. I suggest takign your stirrup irons with you to make sure the leathers (nylon or not) will freely slide through.
