Purchase: I purchased these boots through the Stateline Tack Website for $80 + shipping. I was hoping to find a boot that could stand up to the rigorous riding/barn work I do everyday, rain or shine....
Likes: I liked them at first and thought they were pretty comfortable and fashionable.
Dislikes: They fell apart on me after 6 months!
Quality: The construction is lousy. The sole started separating from the top of the shoe. The footbed crumbled into pieces and started staining my socks black, which did not come out in the wash! The shoe laces broke easily and I had to constantly keep replacing them with new ones. The shoes leak while mucking and rainy weather and do not wisk away moisture. I have a hard time believing they are anti-microbial because they stink like hell no matter what I do to clean & freshen them up: spray febreze, put laundry sheet inside, carpet powder, I've tried everything...
Summary: These boots are okay for those folks who wear them for fashion or just to walk in. No recommended for SERIOUS horsemanship!
