Purchase: I purchased these leathers through Stateline Tack for $40. I wanted some leathers that wouldn't bulk up under my leg when trying to communicate with my horse. I also wanted leathers that were easy to clean and put on the saddle.
Likes: These leathers were just that. They were easy to clean: soap & water, didn't scratch up, reduced bulk under my leg as if I didn't have leathers at all, and were SUPER easy to install on my saddle before riding...you just hook them onto the stirrup bar and GO! They also went well with my leather saddle and were barely noticeable that they were synthetic made.
Dislikes: The price. $20 would have been better.
Quality: The construction is sufficient and sturdy. Easy to clean, tight stitching and these leathers do not stretch out and get bent out of shape. Synthetic made.
Summary: Would recommend these leathers to anyone. Great for lessons when you need to adjust stirrup leathers fast for different people who ride the same horse/use the same saddle. Also great for people who only have one set of leathers and need to change fast between saddles/horses...only takes 2 minutes!
