Purchase: I bought my Arion Original Turnout sheet from www.huntercreeksaddlery.com. It was a leftover clearence from last year for 79.00.
My horse has twice this year came in with torn blankets. Once the blanket back was down around his back legs and the other horses thought he was something out of a horror movie when he came into the barn. The vendor replaced the first one but that brand again became undone at the seems. I needed to find something that was going to last.
Likes: The blanket has a tough polyester/nylon Outer Shell that is teflon Coated. It is
waterproof and breathable. The front has
a clip and D-ring closure which makes it very easy to close. The lining consists of 210D Oxford. The blanket also has an action gusset, tail flap and elastic leg straps.
Durablilty seems to be the best thing I can say for this blanket after going through two this year so far.
Dislikes: I havn't found anything I don't like about it yet. Purple is the only color they had left. As long as I don't tell my gelding or his stablemates that it is pruple, he will not know that it is not a manly color.
Quality: see above.
Summary: It is the best blanket I have owned thus far.
