Purchase: I got a 59 ml sample bottle of EQyss Micro Tek Anti-Microbial Wrap and Blanket Wash from a recent horse convention. I'm not exactly sure what the regular sized bottles cost locally, though on the EQyss website a 32oz bottle is currently listed at $17.95 USD.
Training several horses, it's important that I keep all of my blankets, wraps and saddle pads clean. None have any skin conditions to my knowledge, but you can never be too careful.
Likes: I washed several saddle pads and a few polo wraps as a test of this product and didn't use my normal soap. Instead I used 2 ounces of the EQyss blanket wash as per the product instructions (they recommend 1-2 ounces per washing machine load, depending on how soiled the contents are).
The wraps and saddle pads came out clean (as clean as regularly used saddle pads can come!) and smelling fresh. There is also a nice light smell to this product.
I like that this product is cruelty free, and didn't dull any of the colours it washed (vibrant polos and saddle pads).
Dislikes: I'm actually kind of sorry that I didn't pick up a regular sized bottle at the convention! The little sample bottle lasted one wash.
Quality: EQyss Micro Tek Anti-Microbial Wrap and Blanket Wash comes in a sturdy black bottle with a twist off top.
The company claims that this stops the spread of ringworm, scratches and girth itch (among other things) and while I cannot agree or disagree with that claim (since none of the horses I'm working with have any skin problems), I'm happy enough with the outcome of my test wash that I'm going to buy a regular bottle.
EQyss says you can use this on anything washable.. wraps, blankets, clothes, bags, towels, brushes, etc.. This will not irritate skin, and works in hot or cold water. The wash also contains no soap, is environmentally friendly and non-toxic.

Summary: This is a product that has a great deal going for it. I am definitely a fan.
