Purchase: I purchased this from Horse.com (Country Supply) for $19 not including shipping because I wanted a stall guard for my yearling's stall.
Likes: I like that it is closed so you don't have to worry about feet getting caught in it. My yearling tends to paw, and I wanted him to be safe. I like that it comes with hardware, too.
Dislikes: It only lasted about a week and a half when my yearling leaned against it and it broke in two places. So much for that. It wasn't worth $19, that's for sure.
Quality: According to the website, "Keep your horse in their place with this easy-to-hang stall guard. Made of 1000 PVC mesh material with a durable, reinforced border and silver hardware. Comes with eye hole screws for mounting. Each corner has adjustable straps with plated D-Rings. Approximate size 34 1/4" x 21"." I did not find it strong enough to hold a yearling and would not suggest it be used on horses sized yearlings and bigger, but maybe very young foals or ponies could use it.
Summary: Not strong enough for yearlings, so probably not strong enough for most adult horses. I'd keep looking. It might work for very young babies and very small ponies.
