Purchase: I bough this used, it was 1 year old and barely used. New I think it is around $1800 but I paid $1000.
Likes: This is a nice all purpose saddle, I have used it for jumping and light dressage, which I just began. That's why I bought an all-purpose, so that I could use it for my normal lessons and dressage until I decide if I want to continue and buy a dressage saddle.
Dislikes: This model has the SofRide system that Crosby uses. The leather is very soft, and it has a deep seat nice for flat work.
Quality: The padded knee rolls are a bit too padded for me. I feel like my knees are sticking straight out. I am a bit on the short side and the length of the sides is a bit too long. I have always used close contact saddles and maybe this just has some getting used to.
Summary: This is a nice all purpose saddle, I have used it for jumping and light dressage, which I just began. That's why I bought an all-purpose, so that I could use it for my normal lessons and dressage until I decide if I want to continue and buy a dressage saddle.
