Purchase: I purchased my Cardanel from Schurer Saddlery Services in Selinsgrove PA. I was having no luck finding a close contact saddle to fit my wide Percheron/Dutchwarmblood gelding. I contacted Sue Schurer a saddle fitter and this is the saddle that she fitted my horse and I with. I paid around 1600. at the time of purchase about a year ago.
Likes: I have ridden in my share of nice saddles but this is my favorite. The leather is absolutely wonderful, the stitching is all very tight and even. The panels are deep and gusseted to allow for alot of adjustibility. The flocking is long fibered virgin wool not polyester or reprossed wool so they are extremely soft.
Dislikes: I can't think of anything that I don't like about this saddle. I am going to purchase the dressage model later on.
Quality: The saddle is all handcrafted by Brynn Carl Lowbridge of Cardanel Saddlery.
