Purchase: I bought a used Gen X, seat 16, reg. tree, padded flaps, triangle knee roll, about 5 yrs ago. The tree on that saddle recently broke. A Pessoa representative contacted me (through this website) and promptly sent me a brand-new Gen X!

Likes: This saddle is extremely supportive and comfortable. It rides well over fences, on the flat, and on long trail rides. You can easily feel the movement of your horse. It places your leg comfortably in the correct position. Fits a wide range of different sized horses. The Pessoa company completely supports this product. The 100 year tree waranty goes with the saddle. If you buy a used saddle it is still under warranty. This is also great for resale value.

Dislikes: There is nothing I really dislike about this saddle. (other than it can't clean my house for me!)

Quality: Very well made. Beautiful french leather, buffalo hide seat (SOFT padded deep seat so no bruises!). The stitching is good and strong. Breaks in easily.

Summary: This is one of the most comfortable saddles I have ever used. It is versatile enough to ride over the big sticks, equitation, or on a long trail ride. It looks beautiful in the show ring and fits a wide variety of horses. I am extremely pleased with the support of the Pessoa company. They found out about my problem through this website and contacted me. They were eager to replace my saddle. They were kind, professional and prompt. These are qualities which are rare in this business. There are three riders in my family and I will buy another Pessoa saddle (probably more than one). I want to thank the owner of this website for her help in hooking me up with the Pessoa rep. This is a great and much needed site!
