Purchase: I bought this saddle through hitchingposttack.com through ebay for $625. That included saddle, leathers, girth, stirrups and shipping. I wanted an easy to take care of saddle and I wanted the CAIR panels for my mare's sensitive back.
Likes: I LOVE how it has helped my mare. She use to trot around with her head high in the air and now she is starting to drop it and relax. (I had my old saddle checked to see if it fit, and it seemed to; however, she always seemed to be uncomfortable) I love how easy it is to clean - you really can just hose it off! I got the brown color and it is really a rich chocolate brown. It's extremely comfortable for the rider, too.
Dislikes: I don't like using the synthetic leathers with it. They are really hard to pull down to change them or to pull the buckle down to cross the stirrups over to ride without stirrups. I think I will put regular leathers on or get the webbers.
Quality: This is an extremely well made saddle. The synthetic materials are really nice. The girth points are leather, which I like. The gullet is easy to change.
Summary: This is a great saddle. I highly recommend it. If your horse has a sensitive back, the CAIR panels might help you. I haven't gotten bucked off since I've bought it!!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed and my heels down!
