Purchase: I bought this saddle from Dover for about $1500. My previous boss had bought one and was very happy with it. I had ridden in hers and thought "wow, this is a really nice saddle". So, when it came time for me to get a new saddle, I opted for this one.
Likes: The saddle is really well balanced, putting you in the correct position without you having to work at it. You feel really close to the horse, but there is still plenty or "cushiness". The leather is very soft and supple, breaking in quickly. The saddle fits a wide variety of horses nicely.
Dislikes: The only thing I am not in love with about this saddle is that the nylon lined billets are stiff. (Trade off for not stretching I guess.)
Quality: The stitching is beautiful, as is the leather. I love the stitch detail around the pommel.
Summary: This saddle is very nice and an excellent buy, comparing to many French saddles at twice (or three times) the price! I love it, and ride in it multiple times a day.
