Purchase: I bought this blanket from Miller's Harness for $70. It is 1200 denier outer, 300 grams fill, and cotton lining with nylon at shoulders.
Likes: I had purchased the Upland Turnout Sheet, and it had surpassed my expectations, so I decided to try the blanket.
I am not crazy about cotton lining, but it has not been bad to deal with and has held up well.
It is well made and fits great, all at an incredible price! Very waterproof and warm.
Dislikes: Aside from the corresponding turnout sheet and this blanket (both 600 denier), I normally don't buy any horse clothing under 1200 denier. However, both have held up extremely well.
It only comes in hunter green with navy trim.
I wish it had a ring at the wither so I could add a neck cover if I wanted to.
Quality: Well made and very waterproof. I like how it fits. My mom (who has over 30 horses and generally only buys Rider's International Supreme- great blankets at a great price) has tried 3 Saxon Turnout blankets which are priced similarly to this Upland, and they didn't fit any horse!
Summary: This blanket is a great inexpensive blanket, however it may not hold up on rough horses.
Sizing is only 72" to 84".
