Purchase: In 2004 I bought it at the Midwest Horse Expo. I paid $600 brand new with free matching stirrup leathers (not Stubben). I've seen the exact saddle for sale at $1300 this year, don't expect such a bargain like me!
Likes: It is a great saddle to go over fences with. My legs stay back and the knee roll is perfect. I bought the nice cherry colored style and have the matching breastcollar and bridle; judges have complimented me on the attractive color.
Dislikes: For me, I found it difficult to ride equitation on the flat with it for some reason the flaps don't help with my position with my stirrups down a hole from a jumping position. This is more of a jumping-only saddle.
Quality: Like most Stubbens, it is very durable and strong. I haven't had any problems with it over the years and have ridden a variety of horses with it!
