Purchase: Pozzi Pro 204 -- $2315 -- I tried the demo first and it fit my horse great. I was going to order a 14.5" but after trying the 14" demo, I decided to go with the 14" instead. I normally use a 14.5".
Likes: I love the way it sits me, it holds me in the correct position. The higher cantle feels very secure. My horse felt free-er underneath and picked up a lope much easier. I love how the underside is like an english saddle - no fleece, instead padded memory foam type material, like having a pad built right in. Also I like the rigging - adjustable. I like a flatter cutter type seat with a little bit of room to move around and this fit the bill for me. It was a decent weight, not too heavy, but not as light as some others.
Dislikes: The stirrups were stiff though and I couldn't just slip my feet in them without reaching over and turning the stirrup.
Quality: Excellent workmanship. Although I did notice little things, (horn or the leather around it, --hard to tell, not being a saddle maker myself--, just a hair off center, and when I look down as I'm sitting in it, the leather where the breast collar tabs are, not quite symmetrical -- (but I haven't had a saddle yet where they are), I'm beginning to wonder if it isn't just near impossible to get everything lined up equally when making a saddle. The added details make the saddle look so good.
Summary: This is a great saddle and the demo program is great to try it out on your horse before you commit.
