Purchase: I ordered these from Dover Saddlery while they were on sale for $120.00. I got them for showing in English classes in local and regional shows. Their regular price is $150.00.
Likes: They had a low price compared to other leather boots; I didn't want to go synthetic. I am still breaking them in, but the leather is smooth and easy to clean. They are sturdy and look good. The elastic gusset gives you a little room to move around and the zipper is SO wonderful. I hate struggling to get into boots without a zipper, which is something I don't need when I'm already nervous about showing.
Dislikes: The leather can be kind of stiff, but that's what you get in a less expensive boot. They also don't have a lot of padding in the sole and can cause you to be sore after wearing them for a few hours.
Quality: Good quality for the price; I love the zipper on the back. They are pretty easy to clean and take care of. They have held up well so far.
Summary: This is a good boot if you don't have $300.00 you want to spend on show boots. If you can spend a little more money, I would suggest Ariat boots. One last thing about the boots is that the sizes tend to run a little big.
