Purchase: I acquired this at my local tack store for $30.00. I needed a helmet for everyday riding.
Likes: It serves its purpose of protecting your head. It doesn't heat your head up too much in the summer and keeps it warm in the winter. It has stayed in pretty good condition except for a few scratches the the top. I like the removable lining because it is easily washable and prevents my helmet from stinking. It is very cheap.
Dislikes: It is not as attractive as other helmets, but you get what you pay for. It is hard to get the right size because there are only four to choose from and it only comes with some pads to help fit it. They don't help very much.
Quality: It isn't the highest quality, but it stays together and protects my head, which is why I bought it in the first place. Some other people I know have had the outer shell come off.
Summary: It's a good starter helmet and perfect if you don't show and don't care how it looks. Troxel has quite a few helmets to choose from, so you can find your own personal style.
