Purchase: I bought this saddle from a local tack shop. I paid about $ 1200 dollars for this saddle. I was told that I needed a deeper seated saddle. I really like the looks of this saddle.
Likes: It is great for beginner riders, and great for showing in pleasure classes. It keeps your leg forward and your seat in the correct place. It is great for beginner jumpers to.
Dislikes: When you are jumping, it makes you look like you are not in the correct position. So you really have to exaggerate your position for Hunter/Equitation classes. Also when you land, you hit the saddle to early because of the deep seat.
Quality: The leather of this saddle is great. It hasn't worn away to bad in 4 years. The seat is soft and the knee rolls fit very well to my leg, which is very long and thinner.
Summary: It is a great saddle for beginner riders but as you progress it becomes difficult to ride in. Also, it would be better if you bought a size bigger if you are still growing.
