Purchase: I found this saddle maker while searching for a gaited saddle on ebay. With as much research as I have done, this was by far the best deal in all aspects. The quality of the leather, the fitting process, the price can not be beat in my opinion. Now I have been riding horses all of my life. I recently had been riding a spotted saddle horse and used a tennessean saddle on him. I tried this on my most recent horse I am working with which is a missouri fox trotter. The saddle of course was a bit sloppy on him as he is much shorter in the back and wider in his withers. The correct saddle fit is a must with any horse. So I emailed Tony. Let me say he is the most awesome person to deal with. Educated, friendly and always willing to answer any and all questions. My saddle cost 475.00 with shipping and it fits him like a glove. The measuring process is easy and if done appropriately you will not go wrong. Tony is very specific about how to measure and the angles of the pictures.
Likes: I could go on and on, but I will try not to. I tried this on Sterling today. Right from the start I could tell it was made for him. It lets his shoulders be free and his movement is fluid. The rigging is a bit different, but once I got the hang of it I was amazingly impressed with the concept. It keeps the girth back away from his front legs and I love this. The seat is to die for. I have had 3 back surgeries so trust me, if I can ride it so can you. I highly recommend Tony and this company to everyone. There is no need to pay those high prices to get the perfect saddle for any type of horse you ride. Don't be turned off by the "gaited" saddle. You will not be disappointed!!!!!
Dislikes: There is nothing I do not like about this saddle.
Quality: The quality is excellent. I have gone over and over it. The more I look the better I like it. The stirrups are set which is wonderful on the knees. The leather is supple and quality. It is extremely light weight.
Summary: It's as simple as this. If you are in the market for a saddle for any breed of horse this is the place to go. Do the measurements, take the pics and email Tony. It's that easy. Now sit back and wait, the best is yet to come once you receive your saddle!!!!!!
