Purchase: I desperately needed a new saddle and after months of looking for a used saddle in my price range i had to get something. I went to one of the dover stores and sat in one and for the price it looked pretty nice and comfortable.
I got a trial and then bought the trail saddle for $550. We got it cheaper because it had been on trial once or twice before.
Likes: The color is nice....it has a nice narrow twist...that's about it
Dislikes: I basically hated everything about this saddle. when i got it i thought its cardboard feel would soften with a bit of riding and oiling. Well it didn't take oil at all and i had it for 3 months riding 4-5 days a week and it was still as stiff as a board....It put me in a bad position and my horse hated it....its terrible
Quality: i think the quality is terrible. The leather is so disgusting i just don't even know what to say. I was very disappointed
Summary: I would never recommend this saddle to anyone and i think dover should be ashamed at representing such a terrible saddle...i really didn't like anything about it
