Purchase: I got this blanket through the local tack shop in my area for around $130. I have had much trouble finding a blanket that came big enough for my horse, who need an 87, and this blanket looked great, high neck, long sides, and a neat hidden surcingle.
Likes: The look is the only thing I like about this blanket. It also fit well originally.
Dislikes: First, the lining is not fixed in the blanket, so the high neck slides down and filling comes out the back of the blanket. The tail flap is attached with very weak velcro and was gone after 2 hours in the pasture. The hidden surcingle is a good idea, but began to rip off of the lining within days. The company was nice enough to replace it for free though. The next blanket had the same tail flap problem and had new tears in the lining within days. It also had the same problem with the filling come out the back as well as the tail flap being gone quickly.
Quality: The outside of the blanket seemed to hold up well other than the tail flap in the month I used the first blanket and the 3 days I used the second one. I think the quality problem lie in the lining and hidden surcingle construction mostly.
Summary: This blanket looks beautiful in pictures but sucks for real life use. I would not recommend this blanket to anyone. I have a cooler from this company which I have no problems with. The customer service was great, they took back both blankets willingly and acknowledged that these were problems they were having with this blanket from other people as well. I was able to get a full refund through my tack shop.
