Purchase: I can't remember which tack store I bought these boots from but I bought a whole set, front and back for around $65 a pair.
Likes: I really like the strike pad on this unit and the complete coverage it offers.
Dislikes: Well, I like the boots but my horse did not! I have used a set of Woof brushing boots for years so when it was time to replace them I went for the Woof x-country boot because I respect the company and liked the more complete coverage offered.
Although I ordered the same size my horse wears in other woof products it was as if the boots were too big. I couldn't get them tight enough and they always slipped down, send my horse into a bolting bucking frenzy! I was terribly disappointed.
Quality: The boots are of great quality but I don't think they have the design quite right yet for this fuller coverage boot. Many people I have spoken with who also have this boot have trouble with it bubbling around the fetlock/slipping.
Summary: I really do think these boots are quality, but the design is not right. Try before you buy :) I am going to go back to the Woof brushing boot.
