Purchase: I purchased this pad from Jeffers equine for $40. I was looking to replace my saddle blanket with a nice thick wool felt pad.
Likes: Pad is very well constructed and high quality. The felt was thick and soft. The canvas cover was flexible but durable and a nice color. Despite not being contoured to a horse's shape, it does break in and mold to the horse's back.
Dislikes: The wear leathers were suede. I would have preferred for them to be a smooth leather. But really this is a minor issue.
Quality: Very durable and high quality. Soft and dense felt with a durable but not too stiff canvas cover.
Summary: Fits well, soft, and breathable. I am very pleased with this pad.
