Purchase: I purchased this saddle on ebay, for about $850. It was my first dressage saddle.
Likes: The saddle is very good quality, and extremely comfortable. I purchased the DL model and have since learned that my legs are a little long for this (I'm 5'9). I use it every day and it wears very well, still looks show worthy and it's been worked hard. I love the soft leather on the seat and knee rolls, but they do tend to fade quicker than the rest of the leather so it gives a little bit of a two tone look (still looks alright though). I use this saddle for teaching in, as it gives students an excellent position and makes them feel secure.
Dislikes: Can't think of anything, as I mentioned the DL was not right for myself, but my students and my mom LOVE it.
Quality: Excellent quality, as you would expect from a stubben. Beautiful soft leather. So far everything about this saddle has maintained itself well (it is cleaned after every use).
Summary: I would recommend this saddle to anyone looking for a comfortable, good quality saddle that will help develop their riding as it supports a correct seat position for the rider. Great saddle for beginner- intermediate rider. I've been very happy with it, and I will not be selling mine any time soon.
