Purchase: I bought my in a tack set on Ebay for $1,517 Canadian. But I first saw the saddle in a local tack shop for $1,650 for just the saddle.
Likes: I really love how comfy this saddle is and it puts you in a nice position! I bought a 17" and it fits me great. The knee rolls are the perfect size (not too big/ not too small). The best part is the lemetex spring tree, this tree alows a fit to many different horses! I use it on every horse I ride like TBs, Arabs, QHs, even ponies. The saddle also came with newmarket leathers, bridle, girth, saddle pad, cover, and stirrup irons.
Dislikes: Well I bought the newmarket colour and it's taking some getting used to. It's pretty orange but I'm getting used to it and it doesn't look bad on coat. Also, I've had the saddle for 2 months and it still hasn't worn in yet, so it does take a while.
Quality: This saddle is made of nice quality leather. The stitching looks pretty good and everything is nicely put together. The only thing I noticed that put me off was that the leather after the stitching (around the boarder) wasn't cut evenly. It doesn't hurt the appearance or quality, it's just a turn off.
Summary: I have to say that this saddle was a great investment and all the pieces that came with it were just as good. I would recommend this saddle to anyone who cannot afford the expensive Pessoas, Amerigos, Crosbys, etc. I'm pretty sure the retail value for just the saddle is around $800 (American).
