Manufacturer: H & H
Model: H & H 16" Trail Saddle
Category: Trail Saddles
Purchase: I paid $300 for this used saddle on eBay. A matching bridle was included. Since I was unable to inspect the saddle on-line, I wanted a name brand so I could trust the quality.
Likes: This is a very comfortable saddle with a padded suede seat. Because I am 5'2", I especially like the fact that the stirrup leathers adjust short enough for me; on other 16" saddles, the stirrup fenders are often too long for the stirrups to reach this short. The saddle is sturdy, yet light enough (maybe 25 lbs.) for me to put it on a tall horse.
Dislikes: The leather quality isn't top-of-the-line, though it is good. I'd rate the leather an 8 out of 10.
Quality: This is a very attractive, nice-quality saddle that has held up well to heavy riding. It shows little wear at all on either the seat or the fenders.
Summary: I'd definately buy another H & H saddle.
