Purchase: I bought this saddle in a used tack store for $750 (I consider that to be a deal). The store was originally selling for $950 than she marked it down because the owner needed money. I think it retails for about $1500. I got it used and in great condition. I am a vegetarian so I try and only buy used (leather) tack.
Likes: It is extremely comfortable for me and the horse. I bought it when I was showing a chestnut Morgan and the color complemented her coat nicely and we looked very sharp in the ring. I don't know how good of a jumping saddle it is because I just show Morgans on the flat.
Dislikes: The leather is very soft and wears easily.
Quality: It is a quality saddle. No lose threads from the stitches, and everything is intact. The saddle is only about 4 years old though.
Summary: A great saddle for showing, it looks sharp and is comfortable. I give it a four just because the of the easy wear of the leather.
