Purchase: I paid a little over $300 for my Saddleright pads which included the under pad and shipping. I've purchased two of them and am getting ready to buy a third. I have three horses and will have a Saddleright pad for each horse. I bought my pads directly from Saddleright.
Likes: They keep their shape, are easy to care for and they perform exactly the way they are described by the manufacturer. When I pull them off my horses, they are wet in all the right places.
Dislikes: They are very expensive.
Quality: Very durable and of excellent construction and quality. The underpad helps keep the actual saddle pad nice and clean.
Summary: Despite the price, these pads perform exactly the way they are described by the designer. Because they are so well constructed, it is my guess they will last a very long time and that means that overall they are worth what you pay for them. I'd rather spend $300 for one pad than $50 for a new pad every year! My horses are much happier with these pads no matter what saddle I use. I've even had people call me and ask me if I was interested in selling mine! Guess they're hoping to get a great pad at a used price but there's no way I'm giving mine up! They'll just have to bite the bullet and buy their own.
