Category: Dressage Saddles
Purchase: I bought my Albion used at Bright Star Saddlery (in Agoura, CA) because I needed a new dressage saddle. I paid $1200 for it in very good almost new used condition.
Likes: I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this saddle. It fits both the horses I ride, and they both have very high withers (it's a Medium-Wide) because of the slightly cutback withers. The knee rolls are huge and very comfortable, I was worried that they would encourage me to turn out my thigh, but they really keep my leg secure but without restricting me. The seat is not too squishy, it's just right. This is the only saddle I will ever buy again. YAY ALBION SLK!!!! :)
Dislikes: NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!! I love this saddle!!!!!!
Quality: The leather is all very nice, and even used, the panels are not all flattened. I ride with a few people who have SLK s and all they have all held their quality over the years.
Summary: If you are looking for a new dressage saddle, don't be discouraged about the price of a new one, go used! They really keep their quality! Don't hesitate!!!!!!
