Purchase: I purchased this saddle right from Montana Mountain Horse (www.motanamountainhorse.com) for $1026.00. I purchased form these fine people because they provided a custom built saddle for a fair price. The price I paid included many options that I had added to the base price.
Upgrade leather, Leg saver stirrups, mock wool and extra dees and rings and a full Qtr horse flex tree.
Likes: The Customer service was outstanding.
Melissa handled the order with perfection and kept me informed every step of the way. I ordered the saddle 11/13/07 and had it before Christmas. A CUSTOM Built saddle in that short of time and with quality. The fit and finish is great. I will not buy a saddle from anyone else. Melissa will be getting my next saddle order.
Fit, finish, customer service and workmanship all receive a 5 star rating from me.
Being able to Customize and Custom fit the saddle to both the rider and the horse and If need be using their saddle fitting and tree fitting department.
Dislikes: Nothing.
Quality: 5 star rating all around. Customer service, Melissa, Finish, Fit, Workmanship, and the latitude they give a person on designing and adding items is not found anywhere else.
Summary: If you want a Custom built saddle that you can be proud of and comfortable in this is the saddle for you. Your horse will thank you also. If you need help with fitting they have the tools to help you and will work with you on this as well. Melissa knows her saddles and trees and what works and does not work.
