Manufacturer: First thought Equine WOW Saddles
Model: WOW H Girth
Category: English Miscellaneous
Purchase: RRP 145-165 Uk Pounds sterling. As used by UK Olympic rider Richard Davison. visit www.wowsaddles.com First Thought (Equine) Ltd Little Duskin Farm, Covet Lane, Kingston, Canterbury, Kent CT4 6JS UK Tel: (44) 1227 831614 Fax: (44) 1227 831161 I purchased mine from my local Wow fitter.
Likes: The H Girth was so called because it looks like an H. It's design allows the relief of pressure from the pectoral muscles and transfers any contact pressure to the large sternum area, whilst also dispersing pressure more evenly around the sides of the horse. The design also assists in stability and where on the most difficult of fittings, saddle slipping is not an option! Total comfort and ease of weight distribution in one. The little rubber fittings on each girth buckle which create tension in the buckle action to enable easier girth tightening whist mounted is a really nice touch... and these can be removed if preferred.
Dislikes: A great girth with no downside
Quality: Top quality Leather or Hide finish... bespoke as with the rest of the range
Summary: From the range of First Thought Equine girths which include H girth, stud girth, curved girth, and straight girth. With options which include d-rings, and martingale straps, in any colour-way and finish to match your bespoke saddle by First Thought Equine. RRP from one hundred and ten pounds to one hundred and sixty five pounds. Fantastic Research and Development wins again... total comfort and happy horses.
