Purchase: I purchased a Crest Ridge Contour Pad about a year after I purchased my first Crest Ridge saddle, both the pad and saddle were purchased on line. I have had the pad over a year now, I paid $59 for it and it is the best $59 I have spent in along time.
Likes: The pad is light weight, sized to fit Crest Ridge saddles, it has a nubby rubber bottom and a sturdy top fabric, leather where the cinch goes and is contoured to fit a horses back. This pad has no padding, I didn't want any since my saddles are well fitted. The pad can be hosed off and drys quickly for the next ride, it looks nearly the same as when I purchased it.
Dislikes: There is nothing not to like about this pad.
Quality: The pad is very well made and a good quality for the price, it has exceeded my expectations...
Summary: The bottom line is, if you need a good light weight western saddle pad then try this Crest Ridge Contour pad, they also make the same pad with lifts if you should need it for your horse. And the personal attention you will receive from Crest Ridge is the best.
