Purchase: I bought this helmet for $119 about 4 years ago at a local tack shop.
Likes: It gets the job done okay and has protected my head through many, many, many falls.
Dislikes: It broke after about 6 months after I was bucked off a horse and Troxel sent me a new one because of the warranty - they had had a recall back those helmets. Its definitely not the most stylish helmet and bottom line: its pretty ugly. I've had the same one for about 3 years now and its getting worn out....definitely time for a new one. the paint on the outside is chipping and its very dented.

Summary: This is a good starter helmet, but definitely not a good choice for the show ring as its not that good in looks
