Purchase: I bought these boots at a local tack shop for around $550.00 in 2007. I was looking for a quality field boot and found that these far out-shined anything else in the store that was ready made.
Likes: I love these boots. The leather is very soft and supple calfskin. Because these boots are available in several different calf sizes and heights, I was able to get a very custom fit (In fact I have had several people ask me if they were custom made for me). The back zippers are inconspicuous and make getting them on and off easy. This also enables them to fit closely through the ankles which makes your leg look longer and slimmer. The footbed of these boots is cushy and has very good arch support. They are beautiful.
Dislikes: There is nothing I don't like about these boots.
Quality: These boots are excellent quality - high quality leather, beautiful detailing. They are almost fully lined (unlined only on the inside of the calf).
Summary: I would definitely buy these boots again. If you are looking for a beautiful boot with a custom look and fit without the high price, these definitely fit the bill.
