Purchase: This saddle was for sale in a local feed store. It had been sitting there for two months unsold and I was able to talk them down to $400. SOLD!!! The owner wanted a new saddle off the rack at this store. (Why I don't know)...they were not the same quality as this 15 year old saddle.
Likes: It is VERY nice to ride. You sit next to the horse and feel very balanced. The roughout jockies, fenders and sheep skin under the saddle are in very good shape. The leather is supple and nice. This saddle was quite used but cared for. The rawhide horn is unraveling but overall the saddle is in great shape...she's a keeper!!
Dislikes: The best saddle I have ever had or ridden in...but...I just bought an LG Ammerman so this is now a close second. Certainly not chopped liver though!
Quality: This saddle is quality all the way.
Summary: I can't pick this saddle apart. It is a 1993 model so I don't know how it compares to the newer Sharon Camarillo saddles. I do know that it is super comfortable and it has a home with me.
