Purchase: I bought this helmet a few years ago from Dover Saddlery for around $45. I needed a schooling helmet.
Likes: I like the dial fit system; it allows for small adjustments to make the helmet fit just right. It works very well for those of us who ride with our hair up in our helmet occasionally. The ventilation was pretty good, as well.
Dislikes: It is a bit bulky, but for the price, that's to be expected.
Quality: The helmet protected my head when I took a bad fall onto rocks. The helmet was obviously damaged, so I'm not using it anymore. The harness is again pretty cheap, and there's no keeper for extra material that hangs down after you tighten the chin strap.
Summary: This is a safe and inexpensive schooling helmet. It might look awkward on some people's heads, but the shape is much less round than a cheap Troxel. The dial system is great for small adjustments as well!
