Purchase: I was getting ready for a show and realized that my horse had a stain on her face! After a while of brushing it went away and she was wearing a brand new Stretchy horse hood. I paid about $45 for it, and it is well worth the price.
Likes: what isn't there to like? haha. It is very durable and resistant to the ever present "face stains". Very attractive, it made quite a statement at the local fair! Some of them have zippers and some don't but I find that the zippered ones are easier to but on. The velcro girth keeps it from slipping and the eye, ears, and nose holes make it feel like a second skin to horses!
Dislikes: The only thing I don't like is that the sleezy hoods without zippers are harder to put on, but other than that, I love the entire thing!
Quality: I have had it for about a year and it hasn't torn. The zipper is still working properly and it looks like it just came out of the package. The stretchy fabric helps make it easier to put on and allows the horse to move freely while he is wearing it! VERY DURABLE!
Summary: A must have for horse owners that show! Also useful for horses with skin issues and to prevent those "face stains"! Keep it in your tack box, you won't be sorry!
