Purchase: I acquired this saddle used and paid $1900 for it. I purchased it because I wanted a high quality saddle with supportive thigh blocks and a tree which could be adjusted by a saddle fitter.
Likes: I love all of the leather on this saddle. The flaps look like they have never been used even though the saddle is several years old. The seat leather is extra nice and a little bit grippy, so I don't slide in it but also don't fee stuck in place. The gullet is nice and wide and the panels are shaped well for my horse.
Dislikes: I like everything about this saddle.
Quality: The Italian leather is the finest quality. Even the gullet is lined in beautiful suede. The seat leather is a little bit different from the flap leather and is somewhat grippy.
Summary: This is a first choice saddle in my opinion. I like the fact that the tree width can be adjusted. Mine is a 34 cm and fits my MW-W horses well. The seat is supportive for the rider. Overall, this saddle is one of the best sold. The price on the new ones is very high, so I feel that I was lucky to find one used.
