Purchase: I bought my Rockin R Gaited horse saddle from a local saddlery here in Oakland County Michigan. I bought the saddle as the owner of the tack store told me this gaited horse saddle would fit 99% of the gaited horses out there. I paid under $1000 for the saddle but I heard they have since gone up a slight bit in price.
Likes: I have a wide backed low withered SSH and have had problems with saddles fitting him properly. I tried a FQHB but it would bridge on his back. This saddle is beautiful and fits my horse great. I feel secure in the seat also and I like the position this saddle puts you in. This saddle comes in a rich burgundy color with a brown seat and looks great on my Sorrel and white horse. Very comfy saddle!
Dislikes: There is nothing bad I can say about this saddle.
Quality: This saddle is made of good leather and I have received many compliments on it already. Most people are surprised that I paid less than $1000.
Summary: The Rocking R is an excellent choice for the gaited horse and rider.
