Purchase: I bought this helmet at a show for $90. This was a few years ago, and the tack store had them at 50% off! I needed a new helmet for schooling.
Likes: The helmet looks modern and has a slim profile. I expected it to be a cheap GPA knock-off that would last a season or two. I was wrong! The ventilation is pretty good, and the fit is perfect. The harness isn't cheap, and the padding on the chin strap is nice for long show days. Even though it has a velvet-y covering, I just run a damp cloth across it and that takes all the dust/dirt right off. I can put my hair under it comfortably.
Dislikes: Nothing.
Quality: I think this is a great quality helmet. I've started using it to school in as well, and after two years, it shows no wear. IRH offers a replacement policy if the helmet is involved in a fall for a small price.
Summary: This is a great helmet for those of us who need something trendy for local shows/schooling and are on a tight budget. Some helmets look/feel so cheap that I worry about wearing them when riding difficult horses, but I never worry when using my ATH. I will not hesitate to buy another ATH if/when my current one is involved in a fall.
