Likes: They smell good, they look good. (I even licked them and they were very good. )They are very big, look about the size of a cantaloupe. The horses on youtube looked to be enjoying them, so that's why I gave them a try. I figured when they were kept in from bad weather or waiting for the farrier they could enjoy them.
Dislikes: They are very sticky. VERY STICKY. One even dropped sticky goo all over the stall door when the weather heated up.
Quality: Very well put together, one has been thrown out of a feed bowl from 4 feet up repeatedly, and has never cracked or broke.
Summary: Well, my horses wouldn't touch them. I finally cut them down and put them in their troughs so they would have to smell them and be tempted to lick them or just eat them, so I didn't have to waste them. The one mare throws hers out everyday, which is now covered in dirt and shavings from the stickiness, the others smell them and walk off.
I know horses must like them because the ones in the video did, but mine just don't. None of them. I would suggest just buying one to see if they even like them first, don't make my mistake and just think they will love them and buy them all one.
