Purchase: Well I had been looking at the orthosport pads by professional choice (I have used the professional choice and smx pads before and I liked them but they tend to rip down the spine part of the blanket and get tough spots in them, so I seen these (they were also cheaper) and I thought I would try them. I have a horse that has a higher wither and these seemed like they would level his back out and make a more comfortable fit for him. So I bought a lime green one for I think 75.00 or somewhere in that range.
Likes: Its not real heavy, it has a good soft grip on the bottom of it. It has extra padding in the withers, and along the top line where he needed the extra padding to make a nice fit. Or for added comfort for long trail rides. Neat color, I like the soft top as well.
Dislikes: Nothing yet. I have had mine a month so not sure how they hold up over time, but so far its awesome.
Quality: Very well put together. I think it looks very nice, and my horse hasn't had a sore back yet this year.
Summary: I bought another one for my other horse, who is easier to fit, but I figured that the extra padding would be good on our really long trail rides. I would buy another one in the future too.
